Parasites and bacteria are always present in all animals, it’s more of a matter what their levels are and effecting symptoms. We screen regularly for Coccidia, Giardia and TF (Tritrichomonas Foetus) by fecal float or use Zoologix/IDEXX PCRs. For Coccidia, we use either Baycox or Albon at 4-6 weeks of age and then repeat 10 days later. For Giardia, Roundworms, Hookworms, Whipworms and certain Tapeworms they are treated with Panacur for 3 days at 2 weeks of age then repeated every 2 weeks till 12 – 16 weeks of age. For Tritrichomoas Foetus we use compounded Ronidazole (as needed) from a vet pharmacy. Campylobacter is a bacterial infection that is becoming more prevalent in the cat fancy, it’s often combated with Erythromycin (Or Tylosin) and Baytril. We recommend monthly Revolution topical drops after going home to prevent fleas, ticks, heartworms, ear mites, and roundworms.
Yes, all kittens are given their core vaccinations and dewormed prior to going home.
All parents are on premises and available upon scheduled cattery visits.
All of our breeders are kept indoors either within our personal home and/or their personal indoor cattery. When the weather is good they often play outdoors within a fenced area or indoors with us.
We began breeding Bengals in 2016 after purchasing our own property. Since 2005 we have fostered and worked with feline rescue facilities.
Currently, we are focused on creating a jaguar pattern with ideal Bengal structure. In 2018 we will begin to work in a well-structured paw printed male to influence all offspring and hopefully begin combining traits together. Breeding is a hobby and we evaluate and retain any kittens to pursue this passionate and committed mission.
Our kittens are handled daily in their private nursery inside our home by each member of our family. We strive for healthy, well-socialized kittens.
Yes, visits are welcome for our adults. Kittens under no circumstances may be handled by visitors. These policies are in place to prevent injury, disease, and stress on our kittens and breeders.
